General News:Contreras, Linda Carol Rochester: Died at home in Rochester surrounded by loved ones, on January 19, 2012 at age 66. She is survived by her mother, Sylvia Contreras, Bruce Contreras, and Linda Reid, her loving partner of 39 years, as well as aunts and cousins. Cosmos Contreras, her father, died January 20, 2012. Linda was a graduate of SUNY Brockport with BS and MS degrees. She was owner of the Electric Walrus Boutique on East Ave. and retired from the USPS in 2000. For the past 12 years she enjoyed winters in her home in Largo, Florida. Linda's unforgettable humor and enthusiasm for life buoyed all who loved her. With boldness and complete happiness, Linda immersed herself in art, photography, her gardens, travel, bridge and, most importantly to her, loving her family and friends.

Linda was a graduate of SUNY Brockport with BS and MS degrees. She was owner of the Electric Walrus Boutique on East Ave. and retired from the USPS in 2000.
